Having a home is the dream of every family, but sometimes we just aren't so lucky with the housing options that are available on the existing market. They can be old, have special details that just do not want, or they could just plain be in the wrong area. Well, there is a simple solution to this: build your own dream house. Well, okay, it's not so simple, and most people would shudder at the thought of the costs, but we here at homify know better than anyone else that this project doesn't have to leave you totally broke. Even the smallest budgets can erect magnificent homes.

We have one such a home for your viewing pleasure today. The architects at HQ Design fashioned this dream home with a mere RM194,880.00!

See for yourself!

Perfection and synchronicity all around

As we move towards the back of the house, we see that the style continues all the way around. The attention to detail is noticeable in the line work. Each angle, stroke of paint, and element transition operates in seamless coordination with each other.

A row of terracotta potted plants line up along the base of the home and stretch around the back of the façade for an overall perfectly synchronised picture.

That certain something

Although quite traditional in its structural design, this home has a certain something that others can't quite match up to. This fabulously modern style mixes the old with the new for a fabulous building rich in eye-catching textures and tones which fashion a very imposing façade. Extra details like the canopy over the entrance add welcoming touches and also help protect these residents and their entry from the elements.

Lovely ground floor design

Looking at the home's blueprint design, we see that the ground floor was organised in the best possible way. The open-plan layout holds space for an enormous L-shaped sofa, a generous dining table, and plenty of accessories. With multiple access points to the exterior, this home ensures great flow of energy and air.

The next floor up

Upstairs on the first floor we see four spacious bedrooms and a bathroom unlike any other. Each room is a minimum of 16 square metres in area, meaning there's plenty of space for the usual bed and dresser, but also room for extra sofas or chairs, should these homeowners desire such furnishings. What impresses us most about this home is its expansive nature for the cost it took to build.

Harmonious and modern taste

We bet you're curious about how these ground plans and how they were actually implemented, so here it is! The kitchen, which adjoins the bright dining room, is highly modern, open, and bright. The lower storage cabinets of the space are in dark wood, while the hanging cabinets are kept in clear white. The large double-door modern refrigerator holds plenty of space for shopping. Instead of kitchen tiles, modern glass plates were used with decor. The ceiling is equipped with suspended LED lighting and thus gives the room plenty of artificial light during the evening and night hours. Lovingly selected decorative details like fresh roses in a blue vase (as well as the murals in black and white) give the room a tremendously warm and personal atmosphere. This has become a great and harmoniously designed home, right?
