We were faced with a relatively small flat and a client who wanted to make the most of the space that was available. It is a common theme for our clients to want extra space to live in so we specialise in helping people in this area. The project brief included incorporating an additional bedroom to maximise the space that was available. To add to the list of challenges with this build, we had to think about the fact that this is a listed building. Gaining Planning Permission for mezzanine floor with Listed Building consent takes a lot of skill and experience from the architect and that is why we were chosen for the task.
