EDITED: I did manage to get a refund for the item that I ordered in March and hadn't received. Ordered a black shower curtain rod on March 28 and was told that the order would arrive in 6-8 weeks. I called Serenity at least once a month from the end of April through August to get an update on the status of this order. Most of the time, the person who answered the phone said they would need to look into this and would call me back. Typically, no one would call back. In September, I stopped in at a different bath supply company and found the exact same shower curtain rod. That company, as well as the manufacturer, were both shocked to hear that my order with Serenity had taken over five months and still wasn’t received since the longest shipment delays that these two companies had experienced was three weeks. Since the beginning of September, I have left countless voicemails asking for a refund on this item since waiting more than 6 months is unacceptable. I have also sent two emails. So far, no one has gotten back to me. Based on the ongoing closure of the store, the website being down, and the lack of response from the company, I assume that Serenity is bankrupt.

Ordered products in March of this year. Partial delivery of order (2 tubs). Now October 4 and calls & emails to check on delivery of remaining goods promised by end of September went unanswered. Drove to the Calgary outlet today and a note on the locked door said they'd had a break-in and were "working through inventory & insurance procedures", which differs from the "closed for taking inventory and staff training" note reported on another forum. Not sure why this would prevent them from answering their phone in Calgary or Edmonton or responding to emails. The fact that they have no one at the store and the posts complaining of staff layoffs and others in the same boat as we are makes me skeptical of their motives. Don't want to go all Defcon 5 on them if they are truly having legitimate, short-term challenges but they do need to be up front and transparent. Also they do have about $5K of my money against delivery of goods so not going quietly into the night. Hopefully the business principals, Rob Siegmund and/or Nitin Joshi will respond to this post clarifying their situation.

I am a general contractor in Calgary, and am currently building a custom home. Our clients picked several high-end fixtures from Serenity, which we ordered (through our plumber) and paid a large deposit for. Now that it’s time to collect the order, we have been unable to even walk into the showroom for the past week, and have had no response to repeated emails and phone calls. Very strange and unusual behaviour from a supplier.

UPDATE: The same day as the response to my initial post (See below)I sent details of our initial order as requested by the owner to the email address they indicated. I sent information including invoice date (May), invoice number product not yet received and cost of item as well as my wife’s name. We also followed up with a voice message (the message system was no longer ‘full’). As of writing we have not had a reply to our email as indicated would be the case or a return phone call. Initial post We are waiting on a tub that was ordered months ago. Serenity confirmed with us that they had it prior to our renovations starting then told our contractor they didn't have it and most recently said it was to be delivered on Sept 12. It has yet to be delivered and they will not pick up their phones or return our many messages. Today I tried to call and I received a message indicating the voice messaging 'was full' and when I checked their webpage it stated it is "currently unavailable". When I drove to the store a sign was up saying "we will closed for the day for inventory and training". I also tried calling the Edmonton location and also received a voice message. If anyone has any information about whether they are actually still in business please leave a post.

Absolutely Frustrating to deal with. We contacted Rob to Start a renovation project with them. Our credit card was charged without approval or without ordering, delivery dates in place. Promised that products would be in for move in day.... they weren't. Had to install the old toilets. Toilets we ordered were 5 weeks late. stand alone tub 2 months. New toilets showed up, 2/3 worked and they were the wrong ones specified. Tried to get a replacement for the broken one and have been given the run around. Tried to get a credit for the wrong toilets..... same thing. Promised it would be dealt with, and that a refund was given... still nothing. They charge the money very quickly. its when there's a mistake that they don't want to deal with you anymore or pass you along with empty promises. Its been 3 months of emails and promises and no action.... well an email reply every 3 weeks saying that they'll handle it. I'm used to Products being delayed or not in stock.... but we were just flat out lied to. At every point of ordering the products were delayed but payment was charged in full.

Ordering material was a breeze. Getting updates and eta’s on materials has been more than frustrating. In what world does it take 4 months to receive a vanity or a bathtub? I have contacted them multiple times to get updates on shipping or etas so we can finish up projects but I have not received any response. And if I do get a response they tell me they will look into it and then I hear nothing.

Really disappointed with the service and quality of the fixtures. We got showers, toilets and sinks for 3 of our bathrooms from Serenity and the quality is really bad! Everything is broken and it has been over 2 months that our door on our shower broke and they have not responded to any of my calls. I am even willing to pay for the door. The toilets are all broken and the sinks are cracked and they are made out of some cheap plastic material.

While our experience with Serenity was mostly good, their response to receiving damaged goods has been awful. We received damaged shower bases from them over a year ago and it has still not been resolved. We had to change our design and haven’t gotten a refund.

This is a great company. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family. Rob and his staff are easy to work with and provide excellent customer service! They stand behind all their products. And helped us out above and beyond what was required We just did a full master bathroom Reno which was a challenge due to space and cost. Rob and his staff met each challenge successfully!! And I love my steam shower and and air jet/water jet tub. Thank you Rob and staff for everything!

I’ve used Serenity for showerheads, shower controls and under mount sinks. They have been amazing anytime I’ve needed them. Emailing them questions result in very quick responses anytime I’ve been in a pinch. Certainly I’ve received a lot more value from them than Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. I would recommend them to anyone.

Rob and Jason were absolutely amazing to deal with. They really helped me out with finding a jetted tub on short notice. Their customer service was top notch. I highly recommend going to serenity bath boutique for all your bathroom tubs and accessories.

Went in to look at free standing tubs, bought a tub along with faucets for the tub, and faucets for the shower. We also bought a vanity with faucets and sinks. Great selections and the staff was very helpful. Will definitely go back.

Had a wonderful experience here! Rob was super helpful and gave us a great price for two shower kits and a faucet while being able to find excellent solutions to our very short time crunch. Super enjoyable experience and would recommend!

We are building a new home in BC and needed to look at plumbing fixtures. Full disclosure, when we arrived at the showroom as we were just using it to browse. After a conversation with Rob. We provided him details of the build and by mid evening we had a competitive quote on supply of the fixtures we need. Not sure if our builder will allow us to use Serenity for our plumbing needs, but if we were building in Calgary the sale would be made. First class prompt service.

Serenity Bath Boutique staff and product selection is exceptional. Rob especially is very knowledgeable and passionate about his products. We are remodeling all three of our bathrooms entirely with products from SBB including vanities, toilets, cabinets, and showers / tubs bases and glass. Best bathroom store we visited in Calgary.

We love the service Rob and his team gave us! We had a million questions in person and via email ! Their response was fast, they are so knowledgeable. The products we received are top rated on line (will post once installed) they have everything you need for your bathroom renovation. My wife and I were in a crunch for a sink for our bathroom remodel, we asked if we could purchase a floor model that was perfect for our vision, they were happy to accommodate our needs and answer all of our questions, everyone in the store was pleasant, the selection is unbeatable, if you’re looking for great customer service, and beautiful selection this is the place to go! We will definitely be back!

My experience with Serenity Bath is 5-star! I'm working on a new build and from the very beginning have received excellent advice on the quality bathroom and light fixtures I've purchased. Rob and his team are product experts and offer great selection at competitive prices. Their new spacious showroom will truly inspire.

Can't say enough about the experience we had dealing with Rob at Serenity Bath Boutique. We wanted to update our bathroom requiring a new shower ,vanity, lighting, tiles and so forth. Rob very quickly understood what our plan was and gave us great suggestions to achieve this. We were amazed to end up with more than we expected in terms of quality, appearance and utility. The fact that this came in within our budget was a direct result of the effort Rob put in and the suggestions he made. It was obvious from our first meeting that Rob truly understands what real customer service is and this extends to all of his very friendly staff. Just a great organization to deal with.

Serenity bath is exceptional! They go above and beyond for their customers. They were always very clear and took the time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, and that we were happy with our experience. We cannot thank them enough, especially Rob! We are so happy with our vanities. We HIGHLY recommend buying through Serenity Bath!

I went to many showrooms for bathroom products and would leave disappointed in their showroom and service. Then I found Serenity Bath. With my first interaction with Rob, I knew that I had a great comfort level with his knowledgeable and friendly, down to earth character. He knew his product and again felt like I had known him for longer that I did. Edith and Josh were equally as amazing! It was like going into a small "mom and pop" shop!! You left feeling satisfied with great service and great product. Serenity showroom has a great selection of product but if the item wasn't on the floor Rob was quick to get you the specs and a printout of the item. His prices were also fantastic, giving you the "best contractor' price every time. I ordered Vanities, mirrors , bathtubs and a tub filler and shower system from Serenity Bath. Beautiful product and delivery was prompt and the delivery man was equally as friendly and took great care with all of the product. It was all very well packaged. i have already recommended Rob, Edith and Josh at Serenity Bath Boutique to my friends and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Often it is difficult to get great service, great product all in one, but Serenity definitely delivers! 5 Star! Thank you Rob , Edith and Josh!
